I studied with the "Free School" in Toronto in the early 1970's. Painter Tom Hodgson ("Painters Eleven") and designer Robert Kaiser were influential in my artistic development.

My work has a "process" orientation and I am philosophically and visually devoted to the concept of the positive interpretation of negative space.
